New figures from the Department of Lands and Surveys show continued activity in the Cyprus property market, with overseas buyers accounting for almost half of all sales so far in 2026.
Cyprus's property market remained active in August, with strong interest from both domestic and international buyers.
Cypriot purchasers accounted for 53% of property sale contracts deposited during the month, while EU buyers represented 16% and non-EU buyers 31%.
This means that almost half of all property sales in August involved overseas buyers, highlighting the continued importance of international demand to the Cyprus market.
